It felt like a bulldozed voice Vol- canoeing from atop a mountain with a righteous announcement.
The actual location was not Mount Sinai, (that Moses climbed according to Biblical records) but the Clarice Center in College Park Maryland, November 13th, 2022.
The occasion, FALL CHORAL SHOWCASE, with JASON MAX FERDINAND, as conductor.
This two-and-a-half-hour program featured the university Chamber Singers, the University Chorale, and the new Director of choral Activities mentioned above.
The yells, screams and whistles were for the tenor/baritone of RODERICK DIXON.
King David wrote the book of Psalms but has no recordings of his voice for comparison. However, on hearing RODERICK, one could only imagine the voice of Israel’s second king.
