I Knocked on Hades Door, but Escaped.

On Sunday August 26, 2018, I was on a 30 foot ladder, trimming my Japanese tree; the next thing I knew, I was being placed on a gurney, and rolled into an ambulance. I had fallen, hit the right side of my derriere, my back, and my head.
My quick-minded neighbor, heard the crash, rushed out her house, and was closing the 4 inch gap in my skull, until paramedics came.
I have been trimming this tree for over 20 years, felt I was in control of whatever; but standing on a ladder, with one hand holding an electric trimmer, trying to get that outstretched limb, could have cost me my life, as I landed on that jagged pointed rock. Believe it or not I have a certificate in Safety! Yet I did not follow those safety steps. Some would say it was keeping with my heritage of “monkeying” around.
Last time I checked most, who have tree companies, and sustain the most back and head injuries from falling out of trees, and off of roofs, are not of the race that looks like me. (More of my writings on THECULTUREPAGE.COM or OSWORLDINC.COM)
